I worked with Sheetal while she was a student in my section of the Data Analysis and Visualization Boot Camp at Texas McCombs. Sheetal started the Bootcamp as a strong programmer and excelled in data analytics.

I've been impressed with her ability to solve complex technical problems with minimal guidance. In her first project work, she was able to transform some messy sparse geographic data into a very insightful visualization. After the project, I suggested that she should embed this in an app; I ended up using her work as an example in a future lecture. She has taken well to machine learning and has become comfortable working with NLP in the context of a text-based recommendation system. During this process, she worked with a large data set and had to deal with parallelization and batching.

Sheetal excels at implementing complex systems. She can apply models to data at scale, embed models in apps, and deploy these apps. Sheetal would be a great addition to any analytics or data science team!
